KDFW Fox 4

While a summer 2018 news intern at KDFW Fox 4 Dallas, I learned more than I ever imagined. I produced video stories for our Fox 4 Intern Instagram page and also wrote a few stories for the early evening newscasts. I also had the opportunity to record an anchor demo and edit a package about a major marijuana bust. Below are some of my favorite pieces I produced for Instagram, my Fox 4 producer reel, my Fox 4 anchor demo, and my package!

KDFW Fox 4 Producer Reel

I had the opportunity to write a few scripts for the 5:00 and 5:30 PM newscasts. This experience opened my eyes to what producers do on a day to day basis and I loved writing! These are a few stories I wrote. I also produced the supers and some stories I even went out and helped the photographer shoot the video.

KDFW Fox 4 Anchor Demo

Towards the end of my time at Fox 4, I had the opportunity to record a short anchor demo with stories that aired on previous newscasts.

Officers checked it out and found a major marijuana growing operation. This was such a fun story to go out on. It’s not every day you see something like this!
